There is a perch inside the ...Yes, the whole time. There is a perch inside the dome for them and it's covered with a tarp to protect the girls from rain. (When not in the dome they prefer to perch out in the rain anyway!)<br />I shift the dome every 2-3 weeks, depending on how much the girls have done in it -- I have two chooks and the area under the dome is ~3.2 sq. m. If they are inside all teh time, how often do you shift the dome?<br /><br />My girls (5) get locked in their cage each evening but have free range of the entire yard each day.
